Managing and Leveraging Stress Course (Global)
Product Description
Training for your staff to help them avoid the debilitating effects of workplace stress
People say that the current generation of young employees are the stressed generation. Businesses need to ensure they provide these people with a safe and supportive workplace. Training them in stress management is an important component of this.
This short, single-module course is designed to help learners understand stress, its causes and its effects.
The lesson outlines tactics that staff can adopt to avoid or prevent stressful situations, such as workload and email management.
The lesson then goes into detail about ways to deal with stress when it occurs. It outlines the psychological value of adopting an appropriate attitude when dealing with stressful situations. Like other stress management guides, it sets out the importance of getting sufficient rest and sleep. Unlike many, it also gives tips on how to actually achieve this.
The lesson also points out the positive health and personal growth effects that can flow from being subject to managed stress, and suggests ways to leverage these.
Throughout the lesson there are real-life scenarios: situations that learners are likely to recognise from their own experiences, that help illustrate and ground the material for them.
“Stress levels […] remain high, with 40% of Gen Zs and 35% of millennials saying they feel stressed all or most of the time… “
